Cardassians

Cardassian Lore

The Cardassians are an authoritarian and highly state-oriented people who place a high value on military strength, discipline, and national greatness. Their foreign policy is characterized by expansionism and a thirst for power, while alliances are generally viewed as temporary partnerships of convenience. The Obsidian Order plays a central role in safeguarding Cardassian interests through intelligence and security operations. The Cardassian self-image emphasizes the superiority of their own state, with political expediency often taking precedence over moral considerations or historical accuracy.
